From our site at South Queensferry, new products for the telecommunications industry are exported to customers in the world's fastest-growing economies in South-East Asia. Our facility at South Queensferry designs and manufactures telecommunications test products and systems for the world market with over 90% of the output exported to Europe, Asia-Pacific and the Americas. Our customer base includes both network equipment manufacturers (who require test equipment for new product development and production test) and also network operators such as telephone companies and cellular operators who need to install equipment and test the operational network for quality of service. Our work in South Queensferry has been recognised with two Queens' Awards for Export and Innovation. From our Life Sciences (LSCA) Sales and Support Office in Cheadle, we serve Britain's world-leading pharmaceuticals industry, together with the chemical, environmental, food and medical industries. Our Cheadle site provides a single point of contact for our entire LSCA customer base in the UK. This office receives approximately 4,000 calls per month. covering topics on the entire buying and usage experience of the LSCA customer, from literature and delivery to inquiry and field repair services. The team is charged with solving customer queries quickly, on line at first point of contact, or managing a "hot" transfer for customers to access query and problem resolution from the right function in LSCA. In Winnersh, our customer service centre handles requests relating to new and existing business from customers all over the UK, as well as providing a facility for equipment repair and upgrades. Agilent's Winnersh site is home to a number of teams, including the Test and Measurement organisation's UK Field team, the UK's customer service and support centre, the UK Test and Measurement Call Centre and the life Sciences and Chemical Analysis field sales team.
